Teams
Our Team Philosophy
At Central Coast Physie & Dance, being part of a team means more than just performing together, it’s about connection, encouragement, and having fun. Teams give our members a chance to grow, challenge themselves, and experience the joy of working together towards a shared goal.
While we love to be competitive and strive for excellence, we never do so at the cost of anyone’s wellbeing. We believe in creating a supportive environment where every member feels valued and uplifted.
Each team is made up of six members and is judged on their ability to perform the syllabus with precision, synchronisation, and a high standard of work. True success in teams comes from strong communication, commitment, and a positive team spirit. While we aim to perform at our best, our team culture is grounded in care, connection, and joy.
Our values guide everything we do:
Connect: We show up for each other, support one another, and build friendships that go beyond the competition floor.
Inspire: We lift each other up, celebrate progress, and create a space where everyone feels confident to grow.
Thrive: We focus on joy, wellbeing, and working together, because when we feel good, we perform at our best.
In our teams:
Mistakes are part of the journey. What matters is how we support each other and move forward together.
Effort, consistency, and teamwork are valued far more than perfection.
We commit to showing up for each other. That means attending practices and keeping your teacher informed if you’re unable to make it.
Most importantly, we laugh, learn, and make memories as a team.
At our club, teams aren’t just about results, they’re about people, teamwork and caring for each other.
